Rent alum Nicolette Hart and You're the One That I Want finalist Kate Rockwell will join the cast of the Broadway musical Legally Blonde in May. The show celebrated its one-year anniversary at the Palace Theatre on April 29.
Hart will take over the role of Brooke Wyndham created by Nikki Snelson beginning May 7, with Kate Rockwell replacing Haven Burton as Margot starting May 14. The two actresses join a cast featuring Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods, Christian Borle as Emmett, Orfeh as Paulette, Richard H. Blake as Warner, Kate Shindle as Vivienne and Michael Rupert as Professor Callahan.
Rockwell, who placed fifth in the Grease reality casting series and was known as "Serious Sandy," will be making her Broadway debut. Regional credits include High School Musical at North Shore Music Theatre and Phantom of the Opera at Westchester Broadway Theater.
